About

Nirmal Liyon

Founder & Lead Engineer · VertexElite · Ratnapura, Sri Lanka

Self-taught engineer. 15+ years of Apple board-level hardware repair and diagnostics — the kind of work that teaches you to trust instruments over assumptions. That same discipline now runs through every line of code and every security advisory I produce.

I founded VertexElite to build production platforms that handle real users and real money, and to publish security research with the same standard of evidence I would demand from anyone else. Everything on this site — the platforms, the research, the AI models, the infrastructure — was built by me.

My security work spans AI supply-chain threats (ClawHavoc / Miasma worm, VES-CA-2026-001), firmware integrity weaknesses across consumer silicon (VES-JL-2026-001, VES-AIC-2026-001), and AI coding-agent abuse vectors (VES-CC-2026-002). I hold Anthropic Safeguards CVP approval (org bf33fd98) for dual-use cybersecurity research.
